Props anf filming - 27-28
We didnt have important props for this movie; the costume for this movie wasnt generally wasnt that important. We decided our main character should have a rough beard. The beard does play as an important feature because it displays a sense of lonliness and shows a character who isnt exactly social and living in quite a remote area.
CAST - 26
The Second character in this opening is called Garth. He is a 16 year old teenager who helps Troy in his boat house. He is a local in the area. We decided to cast Joseph as Garth for the opening scene. Few reasons are he looks 16 and he can act like a average 16 year old.
Task 24-25
RISK ASSESSMENT
Might Get Hypothermia because Scotland is really really cold.
There might be a tsunami in the beach so we could drown.
Might fall of a cliff somewhere.
There aren't many risk which are likely to happen during this move.
FILM BASICS
The story is about a man who had supernatural powers in his life and is dormant now; he has moved away from any major cities into a quiet, remorse and lonely village near the coast.

MUSIC ! - 21
Music. I think we should use a soundtrack for our film. i think for the opening we could use a section of the song "The Bridge Of Khazad Dum" from The Lord Of The Rings and The Man Of Steel Trailer. Here is a clip of the music we want to use... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7R3oESCgQw.
Since we are only doing the opening for the movie intro we could either use that or the soudntrack of the "Deliver Hope" trailer of the Halo franchise. Here is a link to the song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7R3oESCgQw.
I think these pieces of music would work quite well with our intro. I don't think we are going to have lively music in this movie because it is quite a "dark contrast" movie. I think as the intro finishes there should we music leading onto the scene where the main character "Troy" is introduced.

Todorov's narrative theory - 19
I think Todorov <---- this guy's theory is a good example of the narrative theory we would like to use in our film. There is a diagram below showing how Todorov's theory works.
This works quite well with our plot. If you can relate this to our story arc that was posted before, and you can compare the "Acts" to this Theory.
Story Arc - 18
Our Basic Story for our film is based around a character called Troy stone. Troy stone struggles with his daily life, a small time fisher off the coast. you don't understand why a young man like him is wasting his life in the middle of nowhere. you later learn that he possessed great powers that was dormant until one night; where he regains them. He then gets a visit from his old friend "Victor Curry"; who knows his "secret". Troy uses his powers to steal and to commit other small crimes. He is misguided and gaining back his powers takes over him and changes him completely; his agenda are completely wrong. At the end of the film he gains control over his powers and his personality; with the help of his friends he decides to help people with his powers. If we divide this plot into acts it would be.
His daily life and the opening of the movie.
Act 2
Regaining his dormant powers. OMG HE HAS SUPER POWERS!!!!
Act 3
Meeting "ghosts" from his past
Act 4
Using his powers for bad intentions
Act 5
Using his powers to help people
The story sounds a bit bland and the powers might seem hard to record in a video; but with the help of Adobe After Effects it is possible.
